Wash And Wax: Protect Your Investment
The benefits of waxing your car
I would like a minute of your time to tell you why it’s important that you wax your vehicle. I know you are wondering what’s the big deal about waxing, you hear people talk about it all the time but you have always been curious about what difference does it really make if i wax my car or not, well today is your lucky day because i’m here to educate you on the benefits of waxing your car & I will also be telling you step by step how we wax and protect your vehicle over time.
Cars can get very expensive nowadays, the average person spends roughly around $500 per month on a used car payment, that’s not including other bills related to the vehicle such as car insurance, car maintenance, gas, fixing up any small issues that occur etc. just like your house, you vehicle is an investment that needs to be protect. With Houston’s unpredictable weather, one minute it’s raining, the next minute it’s cold but one thing’s for certain it’s that the sun is always beaming.
The same way you apply sunscreen on your body to protect your skin from getting sunburned is the same way a layer of wax protects your car. What your sunscreen does to protect your skin from the sun is the same thing a wax does to your vehicle’s paint from getting damaged over time from being exposed to water spots, snow, rain, sun ultraviolet rays, tree sap and bird poop. Yes, I said bird poop. Researchers found that bird poop is highly toxic, with pH levels rivaling acid rain. When a bird decides to poop on your vehicle, the poop with the help of the sun, if not properly cleaned off your car, will slowly penetrate and create a semi-permanent etching of your vehicle’s clear coat. This is where waxing your car comes in handy.
The layer of wax applied on your vehicle makes your paint smooth, slick when you touch it, with long lasting shine, while making it hard for anything to stick to your vehicle paint. With your paint being slick, everything just falls off the vehicle. waxing also makes washing your vehicle much easier. If your vehicle gets rained on, or just needs a wash you can literally just spray with a water hose and the dirt falls off revealing a shiny paint. Next time you are by your vehicle, lightly run your fingers through your paint. If your car feels rough and not smooth then that’s a clear indicator that you need to get your car waxed. Lucky for you, that’s our speciality and we can help you protect your investment.
Here is a step by step of how we help you protect your investment:
- We thoroughly clean all wheels and tires. We pre spray wheels and tires with our tire cleaner. We use a combination of wheel cleaning brushes to get all the brake dust off the rims as much as possible. When you run your vehicle through the car wash your wheels don’t get the amount of detail required to clean them properly, doing this repeatedly can damage your rims and also make it harder to clean in the future. We also clean inside the wheel barrels, some wheels have rust and dirt that has been caked on over the years that won’t come fully cleaned but for the most part it will definitely look better than it did before
2. Then we rinse off the vehicle before performing a thorough hand wash, we use detail brushes to get hard to reach places including vehicle emblems, gas caps, all bugs from the front end.
3. Then we go through your entire vehicle with a clay bar treatment. This removes the dirt and debris stuck on the paint. Making it feel smooth again. This step is very important, this removes contamination of the paint and creates a better bond with the paint and the wax. Which creates a better shine on your vehicle.
4. Then we apply a layer of wax by hand or machine. We use an all in one wax which means it polishes ( fills in very light scratches) and leaves a wax on your vehicle for extra shine and protection. Leave your paint smooth and looking like new. We always recommend you do this at least twice a year to preserve the condition of your paint.
5.We dress all tires with our blue tire dressing that leaves your tires looking new. We also protect all exterior plastics
6.We clean all exterior windows & door jambs
